The Barchessa (the Outbuilding)
The Barchessa is perfect for your holiday; it occupies the right wing of the villa and extends over two floors for a total area of 350 mq. The Barchessa is ideal for groups of friends and relatives who want to spend a happy holiday together close to nature.
The building is fully equipped with all modern conveniences, energy-saving heating and air-conditioning systems, Internet WiFi connection, washing-machine and dishwasher, satellite TV, ironing-room.
There are 5 bedrooms on the upper floor: 3 double rooms and 1 double room with 2 singles, 1 triple room with 3 singles, for a total capacity of 11 people. The arrangement of the beds can be modified according to your requirements. Decor is antique and these rooms are functional, quiet and comfortable. Every room has energy-saving air-conditioning units (Daikin) and all the mattresses orthopaedic. Three large bathrooms are at the disposal of the guests staying in these rooms, with bathtubs and shower cabins. The principal bedroom is furnished exclusively with antique pieces.
There is a functioning fireplace in the dining-room downstairs, which will keep you cosy and warm on winter evenings, thanks to the firewood we will provide for you. The salon is furnished with period pieces and 16th century paintings and accommodates up to 11 people seated at table. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need and is accessed from the dining-room through the two doors of a wide hallway. The hallway contains a bathroom with shower cabin and washing-machine.
Further along the hallway is the salon, furnished with antiques, comfortable sofas and a piano. Three large arched doors open onto the park from the salon, so that eating al fresco becomes an option when the weather is good. Garden seats and tables are at your disposal.
